What is Launch in a Day?
Launch in a Day is a one day workshop with Art Director & Designer Andrea Cerrilla and Website Specialist Elissa Koop, where you will help build a completely unique five-page website (or single-page, long-scroll site) designed on the Squarespace platform. The workshop includes training, domain mapping, basic search engine optimization and more. This is an in-person, collaborative workshop located in the Burlington, Vermont area.
Before the workshop we collaborate with you, through a questionnaire and a review of your content and imagery assets, to come up with a website homepage design made specifically for you and your business. On the day of the event, you and a handful of others will join us for a dedicated one-day session to fully incorporate content and images into your website so that you are ready to launch your new website by the end of the day.
Why are we doing this?
Launch in a Day is a highly collaborative and efficient way to have your site built. Instead of weeks of back and forth, you get instant changes and a site you love by the end of the day. Every site is custom built to your vision, mobile-friendly, and easy to use. We use Squarespace so you can fully manage and own the site yourself.
Our goal is to create remarkable user experiences that will convert more sales and/or clients, communicate your brand to your target market, and establish credibility for your business. We want your business to succeed, and we understand that a high-quality, polished, professional site is a powerful asset for a successful small business or endeavor.
Collectively, we have worked on hundreds of websites and web-related projects. We’re intuitive listeners and natural problem solvers with a strong understanding of web design and user experience best practices. We will teach you how to manage your site so that when you leave our workshop, you will have a working knowledge of Squarespace and the management of your content.
Value to you:
Launch in a Day sites are affordably priced to be accessible to all users.
Easy to manage and totally secure website, with no development or code knowledge necessary.
Your site will look as good on mobile as it does on desktop - and everywhere in between.
Your site will be beautiful and professional, and branded to your company or personal aesthetic.
How does the process work?
We start with a discovery process to determine the goals and objectives of your business and website. We will learn about your target audience, any potential actionable objectives, websites that you appreciate, and the overall aesthetic that you’re looking for. Our next step will be establishing a base look and feel, and your next step will be creating content.
Once we have a solid understanding of your websites goals, objectives, and aesthetic, we will design the homepage and styling backbone of your site. You will have a chance to review the design before build day.
Build & Launch
On build day, we will gather one-on-one or in a small group to build and launch the websites. We will build the site together, making sure it has the right look, feel, and functionality. Throughout the process, you’ll get a firm understanding of how to manage the content on your website. By the end of the workshop, your site should be ready and approved for launch, and we’ll launch it together.
